Past success has allowed us to build a network of deep relationships across the industry, allowing the firm to source assets directly, discreetly, and with exclusivity. Cambridge Lansdowne has a strong origination capacity and focuses on situations where specialization matters and competition for deals is limited.
The partners have extensive experience investing across the capital structure in a variety of asset types and bring a proven ability to understand and underwrite complex situations in the US, Europe and Latam. Our ability to execute on complex transactions quickly and intelligently gives us an advantage over our peers. We are the preferred investor for many sellers and brokers, as a result of our track record and experience, which well positions us against the competition.
We focus primarily on control-oriented equity and debt investments in cash flow generating, asset-based businesses in the United State. We are value-oriented investors seeking situations where significant value can be unlocked. To secure the best investments, we take a flexible approach to evaluate situations that may be overlooked by other firms due to size, complexity, or negative market sentiment.
Cambridge Lansdowne aims to continue creating value by sourcing and structuring valuable niche opportunities and realizing superior value through operational improvements, asset repositioning and balance sheet restructuring. Importantly, the strategy does not require a distressed macro environment to invest successfully, relying instead on special situations that can be uncovered in any property, portfolio or market at any point in the economic cycle.
We focus on assets with competitive advantages in their markets, typically unique opportunities with an ability to be independently managed. We partner with world-class firms for underwriting and operations, bringing outsized expertise to our markets.
